2nd GSP Age Level Investiture
Girls in Green Now Invested

“Being a member of the Girls Scouts of the Philippines , you are privileged to learn things that you don’t do inside the classroom”. These were the words of Mrs. Jesusa Sampang, GSP Executive Officer of Rizal Council, as she graced the 2 nd GSP Age Level Investiture ceremony of MDPS held in the covered court on December 10, 2004 .
There were 90 newly invested girls scouts this school year: 24 –Twinklers, 24-Star Scouts, 22-Junior Scouts, and 19-Senior Scouts.
Also invested during the ceremony were the GSP Barangay committee officers and members headed by Chairman Mrs. Azucena Aritao.
The invested girls and officers were given GSP world pins and other pins according to their age group.
“Now that you will be invested, prove to others that you are better citizens and better students of your school” added Mrs Sampang as she gave her food for thought for everybody.
The said investiture ceremony was made possible through the collaboration of the different troupe leaders namely Mrs. Imelda Lustado (Twinklers TL), Mrs. Edith Ursua (Star Scouts TL), Mrs. Lolita Fernando (Junior Scouts TL), Ms. Marife Escandor (Senior Scouts TL).
Along with the parents who witnessed the said ceremony were the ninangs and ninongs of the girls. They helped in putting on the scarves, caps and pins of the invested girls scouts. G |
