Community organizing and development activities for Indigenous people in Sitio Bacao, Dona Josefa, Palayan City ( Aetas from Zambales who were relocated due to Pinatubo eruption) and at Camp Martyr, Labi, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija ( Altas and Kankanai)

• GRACE PROJECT

G uidance and R ehabilitation A ssistance for C hildren through E ducation - An outreach program of the College of the Immaculate Conception focused on children with disabilities particularly the hearing impaired,the indigent and disadvantaged persons in the Diocese of Cabanatuan and Nueva Ecija.

Founded in 1987 as a result of a study on the incidence of children with disabilities conducted by the Social Work students. Initial funding came from ERDA but presently the fund comes from a a Japanese philanthropist.

PROGRAMS and SERVICES

1. SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM - provision of school supplies, uniform and a modest allowance for:

• elementary and high school students
• vocational- tuition and allowance only
• college- tuition and allowance only

2. MEDICAL and PROSTHESIS assistance

Provided to clients based on criteria. If necessary, referral to other service providers and government agencies.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMS

• TREE PLANTING - Partnership with the barangay, LGU/ government agency and CIC to ensure that the tree seedlings will survive each graduating student will bring at least one tree seedling

• AMDA - Association of Medical Doctors of Asia- a Japan-based NGO doing humanitarian work in areas of conflict and disaster. CIC is their Philippine partner in facilitating their activities for promotion of peace.
• JICA - Japan International Cooperation Agency- for CIC’s projects with the Aetas in Bacao.
