A Predator scout ship crashes in the lands of a town in Colorado. The Aliens on board escape and kill all the Predators. Unknown to them, one Predator survived to become a Predator-Alien hybrid (Tom Woodruff, Jr.) who is out to kill them all. The Aliens impregnate a father and son hunting team (Kurt Max Runte and Liam James) and many others later on. Meanwhile, the townspeople are helplessly caught in the middle of this ultimate fight between these two mythic, scary, extraterrestrial creatures. Schools and houses are attacked by the aliens but the Predator destroys all the evidence so no bodies are found.  All the survivors are asked to gather in the town center. Unknown to them however, the plan is not to airlift anyone to safety but instead to use them as bait to draw the aliens to one area and then destroy everyone with a small nuclear bomb.

Despite the film producers efforts to make this movie a grand spectacle experience, it falls flat in the basics of storytelling. The characterizations are all superficial and do not go beyond the foreground level. The result is a story of underdeveloped characters and predictable plotline. Even the aliens are not interesting. Although said creatures are product of successful prequels, audiences themselves are alienated on the motives, background and goal of these monsters. Half of the time, the audiences are lost in the movies direction. Except for the common sense nature to survive, there is nothing new with the plot. Aliens and Predators 2 may have provided some scare but not enough to be remembered. In the end, it falls short of audiences expectations of a sophisticated extraterrestrial thriller.

Is it moral to risk and sacrifice lives of innocent people just to prevent an unbeatable enemy from spreading more harm? Such is the main moral issue in the film that is never discussed nor developed. There is no remorse. There is no retribution. In the event that monsters and aliens become more powerful than humans, who do we turn to? Are there really monsters and aliens who are out to destroy what God has created? The images of aliens and monsters are sure to leave distracting images and nightmares to the young and susceptible. There is blood, violence and gore scattered all over the place and hints of sex, drugs and alcohol are present in this movie. The only saving grace could be the pure relationships of friends, mother-daughter and brothers who all went out of their way to protect and save each others lives. Other than that, Aliens vs. Predator 2 is not a wholesome entertainment. The movie should only be viewed by a mature audience.
