CBCPWorld is now on its 5th year of providing quality internet access that removes pornography in the internet.

CBCPWorld is a realization of a dream to respond to the call of the Holy Father:  to make the Internet "a new forum for proclaiming the Gospel" (Message on the 36th World Communications Day, 2002).
  
The CBCP Communications Development Foundation (CCDF) and the Transpacific Broadcast Group International (TBGI) have joined hands and committed to pursue the call.

In addition to the existing infrastructure of TBGI at Clark Special Economic Zone in Angeles City, additional facilities were acquired in order to make that commitment more lasting and sustainable.

When CBCPWorld was launched in May 2002, all  that we had in mind was the delivery 
of bandwidth to Catholic institutions,  especially Catholic schools, through a most flexible 
platform—the VSAT.  Of course, early on we already had a hunch  that the CBCPWorld 
project would bring us to uncharted frontiers because the  objective was very novel:
