Baptistery Renovation On-going

15 November 2007, Thursday. Finally, the baptistery of the Parish Church of the Parish of St. Fabian, Pope and Martyr, is undergoing major renovation and repairs. Until today, the place is used to hold the statue of the "Jesus Carrying the Cross" or the Nazareno. The stairs leading to the choir loft can be found also in the same area. When finished, the parish church will have its place for baptism. Since the construction of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of the Divine Mercy where the baptistery used to be, the church has had no permanent baptistery. Baptisms are being held in front of the sanctuary. The new baptistery is designed by Architect Roy Cordero. He also designed the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of the Divine Mercy.
