SCC high school department joined the Padunungan 2006 held last October 26 at the Dagupan City Peoples Astrodome and bore the theme “Kabaleyan, Kasakey, Kaaro”. This annual competition was sponsored by the University of Philippines Subol Society , Baguio and Diliman Chapters. The UPSS Padunungan is now on its 31st year of service in Pangasinan.

Different contests highlighted the event such as the Essay-Writing, Poster- Making, Poem-Writing, Photo- Shoot Competition and the Quiz Bee with two categories, the Mixed – Campus and the Inter- School Quiz Show. SCC’s representatives were Maricar Manuel for the Essay- Writing, Jill Kathryn Escano and Mcgyver Saringan for Poster- Making, Jessie John Felix for Poem- Writing, Kempee Royce Cruz, Carlo Giorgio C. Cerezo, Resevelle Betonio, and Christian Manuel joined the Quiz Show. Mrs. Rosana Espinosa was the representative for the Photo- Shoot competition. Ms. Elizabeth Maravilla and Mrs. Lilibeth Marquez served as their coaches.

Last July 5, 2006, the campaign rally of the candidates for the Supreme Student Council in the highschool department was held. Within the campaign period, they laid their plans and objectives for the school year 2006-2007.
Carlo Giorgio C. Cerezo, IV- St. Columban, won with overwhelming votes as president of the Supreme Student Council in the highschool department, against Arvin Indoy, Annalyn Toledo, Christian Rey Manuel, and Reyna Nicolas in the election held last July 6, 2006. Read More
